Remember when mama used to say, “Always put your friends ahead of any man”? Well, forget that advice and listen to this: If you put your husband behind your friends, you will find yourself without a husband.

Seresity: I highly agree with the main idea of this article. Your spouse is supposed to be your best friend that will point out your mistakes tactful while also supporting you in front of any obstacles. The idea of putting anyone else before your spouse shows the start of the degradation of the relationship (children too have their special place but not above your spouse’s place).

Do you agree or disagree?

I think about that stuff all the time, and since I’ve always had friend problems & the person I marry is the one I want forever… I guess I pick him <3

I already love my future husband more then almost anyone else, he is my best friend(well the closest I have to one right now), and I wouldn’t give him up for anything. I only have three people on my list higher then him & it’s for good reason. We’ve already talked about it and he’s okay with it. My list is: 1) My Sister 2) My Dad 3) My Mom. So basically I’ll always put him first, except in certain situations.

Also, I have to add every woman should do what’s best for her. Meaning, if somethings wrong don’t pick him. I guess just be careful… I have family who has gotten married, then found out their new husbands were jerks.
